How To Make Your Own Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

These are some of the reasons why you should always have it in your kitchen. However, the best option is to prepare your own raw organic ACV. On this way, you will definitely reap all its health benefits. The preparation is very simple and easy.

RECIPE:
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Organic apple
INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash and slice the apples nicely. Put them in a glass jar and then add the sugar (1% of the apple weight – for example 1 kg apples = 10 g sugar). It is important for the process of fermentation, but it will be totally lost in the final product.

The next thing you should do is to fill the jar with water, then cover with gauze and finally store it in room temperature – 20c.

The jar will start releasing a sour odor in 7-10 days. You would better keep the jar in some other place – not in your kitchen – as the smell will grow stronger.

Taste the sourness of the ACV and strain and store the liquid in sterilized glass bottle if it is ok. Let it stay a few more days before straining, if you like a bit more sour.
